Recently I went over to my brother Dan’s place to work on creating charts for the WirePilots, our guitar/percussion duo. It was not an easy process at first but it got faster as we went along. I basically took dictation, which I haven’t done since music school. To tell the truth I was never more than a mediocre dictation taker. Happily, I could ask Dan to repeat something, which I did often. Here are before and after pics for the song “Eleven Point.” First, initial scribblings and next in Sibelius.
