My brother and I have a two man band called the WirePilots. He’s on guitar and I’m on this rig here. It is built around the Korg Wave Drum, an LP Compact Conga and a pandiero on a stand, which is sort of a snare drum substitute. I sit on a cajon and have a bunch of cymbals, two from Dream and the rest Zildjians. I recently added the kick drum for some low end heft. I also work in the Cooperman Glen Velez Bodhran and some darbuka for good measure.

I’m constantly tweaking the set up and rarely play the same rig twice, which can be a good or bad thing, I suppose.
