We had a nice turnout for Dan’s faculty jazz concert at Webster U. on Monday and I think it went really well. We worked pretty hard on arrangements for this show–all Dan’s original compositions that leaned towards the Tango with some leaning decidedly harder than others.
This concert marked my frame drum debut, which I must say I was happy with. Dan and I played a couple of duos with him on the 12 string guitar and me on the bodhran. It was fun to be up front and not in the back in my customary position! Hopefully we can get in and record some of this music and get it online soon.
