Last night I was in the recording studio for a few hours overdubbing some tracks for my brother Dan’s<\/a> upcoming Christmas album. It was fun. The room has a great vintage Neve console with faders from here to Timbuktu.<\/p>\n

This record is going to be good. I don’t know if it even has a name yet, but it’s kind of a folk\/pop thing with moody guitars and interesting solos and arrangements. <\/p>\n

I mostly played shakers and cymbal rolls, which I believe is called “sweetening” in the studio world.<\/p>\n
