Last weekend I was in NYC playing at Carnegie with the SLSO. It&#8217;s the third time in a year that I&#8217;ve been able to do that. Don&#8217;t think that I don&#8217;t enjoy it because I do! It was a short trip&#8211;from Friday to Sunday. I got to go to some favorite eateries, walk around the park and, perhaps most importantly, hang out with my St. L friends that I only get to hang with on tour since we&#8217;re all so into our insular lives at home. That strikes me as wierd, but it&#8217;s true. We have to travel to hang out with the locals!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey everybody.
