Henry Claude with the Ozark Stick Basket

While in New York, I took a photo of my friend and fellow extra drummer at Carnegie with his hand made Ozark stick basket.
He’s oh so smiley, no? But he’s happy, trust me. It was after this that I saw the sign about photography not being allowed on the stage level. Ever.
Geez, now I’m bummed that no one took my photo…

My wife, Gina, thinks he looks like a butler. “Your mallets, sir.” “Thank you, Claude, I’ll take the white ones…”

Carnegie Gig

Hey everybody. Last weekend I was in NYC playing at Carnegie with the SLSO. It’s the third time in a year that I’ve been able to do that. Don’t think that I don’t enjoy it because I do! It was a short trip–from Friday to Sunday. I got to go to some favorite eateries, walk around the park and, perhaps most importantly, hang out with my St. L friends that I only get to hang with on tour since we’re all so into our insular lives at home. That strikes me as wierd, but it’s true. We have to travel to hang out with the locals!
